Event: Occupy Wall Street Short Films Night

After our conversation about Occupy Wall Street in class on Tuesday, I thought this event might be of interest.  This Friday!

On Friday February 3rd, CUFF will present a special night of short films and documentaries covering Occupy Wall St. and Occupy CUNY, featuring work from CUNY filmmakers and DPs. Some of the strongest and most effective film and media from the movement thus far has come from CUNY filmmakers, and this will be a survey of that work, specifically focusing on issues facing the City University of New York, recent battles over tuition hikes, and the crisis of public education. The screening will be introduced by CUFF artistic director Nick Shimkin and Martin Lucas, MFA Program Director for Hunter’s Integrated Media Arts track.
